I'm Back, Baby!

Tonight I felt a need to shoot like I hadn't in a while, and man did it feel good!  I even got out the DSLR and tripod, which I hadn't done in a while (though not for this pic, which I actually took with my P&S while out hiking earlier this evening).  And once I got that baby back and my hands and started shooting, things just started feeling right again.  I have Mother Nature to thank for the inspiration, as I just couldn't ignore what was in front of my eyes tonight (even though, ironically, it was just at home, so kinda stuff I see every night).

On this pic…  I actually also did a 2:1 crop on this to get a little tighter image with less empty space, but keep coming back to this original 4:3 ratio.  I just love the vastness of the sky here.  It makes me think.  About what I don't even know, but I just feel contemplative when I look at it…  Of course, your mileage may vary. :)
